(Back in 2007)
January-John was still working full-time for HOVRS and loved the job. Dee was in her last semester for her bachelors and look at the white hairs coming in!!
February-Both apply to CSU-Fresno for graduate school in Deaf Education (John) and Social Work (Dee). And John just can't believe he's 30!!! Poor old....I mean handsome guy.
March-"Nothing is certain but death and taxes" You can say that again Ben Franklin. We experience our first taxation and whoopee, we get $100 back. :-p
April-Dee finds that working with severe mental health clients is challenging and not her forte. John's still plugging away at HOVRS.
May-John and Dee both get accepted to Grad school!! Yay!!! Dee finally dons the gown and throws the cap then goes to work donuts for the family again. :) And a new cutie niece comes into
the world (Lillie Harris).June-Pack, pack, pack, Dee gets sick of seeing boxes. How can two people have so much stuff? :)
July-John's last month at HOVRS flies by and they still want him to stay on. We make the exhausting move to Fresno, encounter pests of the worst kind, and pack for NZ trip.
Aug-Glad to leave our new "home" already for New Zealand and loving the trip. Spend lots of time with family there and enjoying the sunshine. Dee tries cricket for the first time and sees a real rugby game. Its beaches galore and a stay-over in Queenstown (try the luge)-a true adventure tourist spot. G'ma turns 80 and still kickin'. John n' Dee go out to sea with Big John and meet seals and enjoy the albatrosses and Dee nearly grounds the boat drifting out of shipping lanes haha.
Sept-Masters starts and already we're stressed!! Dee has no internship and John's considering shortcuts to school. But good still happens, a new nephew is born (Kooper Bowman). That makes...14 i think, wowsa!
Oct-Dee finally gets an internship and practices her procrastination skill and stressing out. John is a great student and doing well. Dee should take a leaf out of his book haha.
Nov-John's first trip to Oregon Coast for family Thanksgiving vacation. Dee tries "body surfing"/rock climbing and decides its not all fun. All this adventuring makes John nervous and Dee promises to avoid doing it again. LOL. We meet the new nephew and have lots of fun with all the kids.
Dec-Yay! We've survived our first semester with great marks and spend the break with family and John gets to revisit chess again after months of abstaining. A NZ nephew is born and adds to the count.
All this time, and now we've got to do it all over again! :)
